Teddington Day Nursery is a popular nursery with an excellent reputation where your child will spend happy, secure days learning through play. There is high demand for places as we offer not just convenience but a commitment to premium childcare and education to give children a fantastic start in life. Five minutes from Teddington rail station and just off the High Street, our location means commuting is simple by train or bus, making life easier for working parents. We have two spacious, light and airy floors of a converted Victorian school building set back from the road, offering added security and with a wonderful newly refurbished garden.
Teddington Day Nursery has been established for more than 20 years with dedicated, long-serving, qualified staff, so you know your child will be in safe hands. We take security seriously with a coded entry system and enhanced CRB and reference checks for all our team. Children’s needs always come first and with talented staff offering lively ideas and priceless experience, you can be sure your child will develop to their full potential at their own pace. Activities are planned around your child’s interests and development.
In our seven stimulating rooms, creative and messy areas, comfortable book corners, water and sand trays, construction zones and dressing up boxes provide so much to do. Sploshing paint, squishing playdoh, baking biscuits, making music or listening to stories, life is a lot of fun. Outdoor learning is a big part of nursery life, and in our new garden children learn to take risks and explore on a large scale.
Under 2’s have a wooden train frame, while Over 2’s can dig, plant seeds, experiment with the water-flow feature, develop their imagination in the playhouse and clamber about a big climbing frame that includes rope nets, slide and wooden bridge. Settling-in sessions smooth the transition from home to nursery for both parents and child, and we can offer Stay and Play time for you to join in activities with your child. Your child’s key person will help them enjoy learning and achieving, recording their development in their Incredible Learning Journals and sharing it with you through daily feedback, visual displays, regular reports and parents’ evenings.
